A new and accessible way for UAB students to go grocery shopping is here!

On Saturday, February 4, 2023, UAB Student Assistance and Support and Blazer Kitchen at the Hill Student Center launched the Blazer Market Route.
The free shuttle service takes currently enrolled UAB students to Walmart, Mi Pueblo, and Super Oriental Market on Saturdays and Sundays. All students need is their valid One Card to hop on the Blazer Express. Students should come to the Hill Student center (across from Starbucks on 14th street and 7th avenue) at 9 am on Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday. There are two buses. The buses go to Super Oriental first, then Mi Pueblo, then Walmart. Students can be dropped off at any of the three grocery stores; another bus will pick them up in about 15-20 minutes, and buses then go to the next store to pick-up.
All students are returned to the Hill Student Center.
