As you and your student prepare for Spring 2026 at UAB, here are a few updates and reminders to keep you in the know as you continue to support your student, and to help you stay engaged and connected with UAB.

If your student did not complete a health insurance waiver for fall 2025, the deadline for spring is 2/2/2026. Student Health Services has these dates and all details on their website

UAB Campus Dining has rolled out the Spring 2026 dining hours with adjustments and fresh new locations to serve you students. Check out the Spring 2026 Hours of operation HERE.

The UAB Career Center will be offering a variety of spring events designed to help students explore career options, gain professional experience, and prepare for internships and full-time employment. Talk to your student about participating in these opportunities as part of their career development journey.

Valentine’s Day is coming! So, prepare to send some delicious Valentines Treats to your student along with a personalized message from home. This year we are excited to add an option of cookies along with classic cupcakes, specialty cupcakes, and cake pops. Pre-sale starts soon!
